Lam Ping (Kate Tsui) is the daughter of a rich man, who falls in love with Mao Chi (Sammul Chan). Unfortunately for Ping and her father, Chi is a conman who is only interested in her money and plans to get rid of her and her father after they get married so he can take over the whole inheritance. Lui Sau (Bosco Wong) is a police officer, who has a crush on Ping, which is not reciprocated. He is investigating Chi, but can’t quite get enough evidence to bring him to justice.
